Lucy Ambrose
The head of our flock; Lucy has worked in events for over 15 years, starting her career in the land of Premiership Football and International Cricket at a sports agency organising events for their top clients. Lucy then moved into the blue chip world of Telecommunications, IT and Finance where she specialised in managing conferences for major players like Panasonic, Orange and Fujitsu-Siemens. A few years later, Lucy stumbled upon the Automotive industry where she met the other Lambs, forming a formidable alliance.
Lucy is full of personality and confidence. Flexible to a fault and her attention to detail is first rate. A real grafter, Lucy is in her element immersing herself in the preparation of an event.
Lucy has a tale to tell about most things – from eating a packet of crisps with Sir Alex Ferguson to having a private lunch with Mohamed Al-Fayed at Harrods. Utterly committed by nature, she will make it her mission to ensure your event is perfect.
Chrissie Borley
Chrissie heads up our onsite teams. A highly experienced Events Manager with a background of Corporate Hospitality and Incentive Travel, Chrissie has travelled the globe for various high profile companies in the Automotive, Pharmaceutical and Finance industries, accumulating an impressive client portfolio along the way, which includes Audi, Jaguar, St. James's Place Wealth Management, Herbert Smith and BMS to name but a few.
The consummate professional, Chrissie has exceptional organisational skills, and is absolutely meticulous in everything she does. She leads by example, and is a real team player. Calm under pressure and with first class standards, she runs a tight ship with military precision. You can have the utmost confidence that your event is in the safest of hands when Chrissie is in charge.
Liz Lyness
Liz has been in the events industry for 15 years working on home soil as well as internationally for an array of clients including BMW, Audi, JCB, Sainsbury’s, Boots UK, A1GP, Formula 1 and many more.
Liz started off working in corporate hospitality for major sporting events, but she soon realised where she excelled and moved into event management for top retailers. Recently, her focus has been on automotive clients.
Liz is as cool as a cucumber during pre-event but particularly onsite – she is the epitome of an ‘Event Swan’ gliding beautifully on top of the water whilst working tirelessly below the surface.
Liz exudes a warmth and certainty that puts clients and guests at ease from the outset, giving them confidence simply from the knowledge that Liz is running the show. She takes everything in her stride, even when under the most extreme pressure...and all the time with a smile on her face. Fun and fabulous, Liz is a fantastic asset to our team.

Louise Spackman
Louise's knowledge of the events industry is second to none. An envy-inducing career started with her experiencing how the other half live with an exciting stint in Monte Carlo managing conferences at a five star hotel. Australia beckoned next, and Louise found herself in the world of professional Golf as Tournament Manager for the Greg Norman Holden International. After three years, she returned to home soil where she continued to add yet more strings to her bow, by specialising in sailing events; a passion she still has to this day. As Events Manger for the Volvo Ocean Race, Louise was responsible for setting up race villages and managing events at 10 different ports. If that wasn't enough, she then started her own successful events agency which she ran for 10 years specialising in the automotive world. Absolutely dedicated to the core, Louise is brilliant at what she does. We are incredibly lucky to draw on Louise's know-how and expertise with her valued consultancy services to Purple Lamb.
